Love advice please USA VS IRAQ?

Ok i have to leave my fiance to go back to the USA Hes Iraqi and a refugee and we are very much in love i think except he hasnt even told his family about me and now that im leaving he dosnt even seem to want to put forth the effort to do what he needs to so we can be together in the USA what should i do?
