Why have the inner-cities disintegrated since forced integration in the 60's?
In my opinion it was the voting rights act of 1965 as well as forced integration. The voting rights act was was well intentioned to give any qualified voter the right to vote but it actually gave anyone the right to vote, qualified or not. Politicians then ped bad legislation in order to get votes from unqualified minorities. The worst legislation gave generous welfare payments to single mothers which destroyed minority families as the fathers moved out and women were encouraged to have more children out of wedlock to increase their welfare benefits. Unsupervised children roaming the streets because no one was home to bring them up is a big part of the reason for todays crime problems. Forced integration resulted in middle cl flight from the cities which ruined their economic base.
