When you think of homelessness or homeless people what do you think of/ what pops in your mind?

Two things come to mind right away. First of all ; Why is the person homeless? Was it his/her lifestyle; drugs, over consumption of alcohol? Usually this isn't the case, but regardless of the reason, they should still have a suitable place to stay, and food. The next thing is; This economical system makes it hard to keep a job, hard to pay rent/mortgage. Too expensive for many people who are working even to keep up.There are no "ceilings" to how high the rents can go up. Was their home taken away from them? Many times it is the fault of the system that caters to the wealthy at the expense of the average working cl.Then the government doesn't do anything to make enough suitable housing for people who need it. If they cared enough to plan effectively, there would not be this kind of a problem.There is much that could have been done, that hasn't been.
